About

The creators of R.I.P What You Sow (Godot Wild Jam #62) presents Hang In There, Baby. A point and click narrative adventure about missing cats, a nameless private agent with a past, an old timer detective who loves haikus and an evil pest-control corporation. Click and drag with the mouse to interact with cats and objects. Your mission is to find and rescue missing cats before it gets dark.  Play across 3 days of (in game) gameplay with a fixed amount of time on each. Try to be as quick as possible by following the descriptions in the ‘Missing’ posters that you’ll need to pick up every morning from your office. When the end of your shift comes, you'll have to walk into the office's designated cat room and place the cage inside. Enjoy and thanks for playing!

Controls

After grabbing the posters and heading out, click on the cats hidden in the map's locations and then examine them by dragging them around with the mouse

If you feel like you found one of the cats in the missing posters, drag them over to the cage to rescue them, you have until 9PM to find them all

As a side note, the game might bug out a little if you interact with stuff in the middle of a transition, sorry about that!

The content of the boss's conversation was interesting!

And I really liked all the elaborate posters for the looking for cat.

The time limit was just right, and I managed to keep my office even though I was in a hurry, MEOW!

my playthrough

I just finished watching the video, thank you so much for playing and sharing it with us!

We are very happy you enjoyed it!

I thought Gregory might be a cat, but I couldn't find him

That's an interesting idea haha thank you for playing!

I absolutely love the style! The "meow"s are awesome. Very cute and enjoyable :D

Haha I'm sure the author of the meows will appreciate it, thank you for playing!

Adorable game! Super fun - I really liked how the clues got progressively more obscure. Fantastic art style. Only critique is that it took me a bit to figure out i could move the cat around within the viewing pane - but that's more on me than the game design, I think.

Thanks for trying it out! And that's fair, there's definitely a lack of instructions for the general controls, happy to hear you enjoyed it though!
